Special coating for interiors with aesthetic effect of velvet material. SABULA is realized with new technologies, it offers safeness, abrasion and washing resistance. This product is created to give new decorative solutions for interiors in order to make your environments unique for their refined elegance. CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATION: For the best aesthetic and quality results, we suggest to follow our advices. SABULA may be applied on various bases, for example: walls, plaster, wood panels, light alloys and on supports painted with alkyds and polyurethanes, after previous adequate treatment. 1 - Spray SABULA keeping pressure at 2-4 atm. at a distance from the base of about 20-30 cm. Use a spray-gun with superior tank and with a nozzle of 2,5 mm., joined to a multispray or to other equipment with the same power, excluded airless. Spray the first coat of SABULA horizontally in the quantity of about 230 gr/square meter to obtain perfect covering of the base (SABULA dries after about 2 hours at room temperature). Spray the second coat of SABULA vertically, in the quantity of about 100 gr/square meter. An excess of product applied during the second coat or not well-distributed, can arise light and shade halos. In order to eliminate these halos, after a complete drying, spray again SABULA in the quantity of 100 gr/square meter (in a uniform way). DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 2- New wall surfaces. The wall has to be well dried, without alkaline substances and smooth. Otherwise, shave off with Stucco R 2786, then use thin paper 180 to render it perfectly smooth. Apply finally a coat of GUMMIFLEX base. After drying, apply 2 coats of SABULA as described at N 1. 3 - Old wall surfaces. Smooth using glass paper to remove old not anchored paints and, if necessary, shave off with Stucco R 2786. Apply a coat of GUMMIFLEX base and follow as described at N° 1. 4 - New wood. Apply a coat of GUMMIFLEX base, use Stucco R 2786, smooth with paper glass 180, apply the second 0051 01 GUMMIFLEX base and last apply SABULA as described at N°1. 5 - Old wood, old iron (already treated with alkyds and polyurethanes enamels). Smooth using glass paper 100/200 and apply a coat of GUMMIFLEX base. Last apply SABULA as described at N°1. 6 - New Iron. Smooth, remove grease and apply a coat of high quality anti-rust. Apply a coat GUMMIFLEX base and last SABULA as described at N° 1. 7 - Light alloys. Remove grease and smooth the surface. Apply a coat of an adequate primer and a coat of GUMMIFLEX base. Last apply SABULA as described at N°1. N.B. – These pieces of information within the limit of our experience, are exact and accurate. In the case of lots differences we suggest to mix the paints in a big can in order to avoid colour changes after having completed the application. TECHNICAL FEATURES: Composition: special pigments, resins Methyl Styrene Acrylate which give SABULA its aesthetic effect of velvet material. Solvents: it contains aliphatic solvents. Specific weight: about 1,0. Viscosity cps: 3000 +/- 500 cps. Thinning: ready to use; add a maximum of 5% water. Yield: About one litre for every 3 square meters. Temperature for application: apply SABULA at a temperature superior to +5°C but not over +40°C. Drying: dust dry after 1 hour at 20°C. Dries in 3 hours at 20°C. Hardens after 24 hours depending on room temperature. Tools cleaning: first with water and then with white spirit. Product brightness: opaque glazed. Use: for interiors decorations, on various bases after adequate treatment. Resistance: the elastic film obtained after complete drying is shock and abrasion resistant. Washing resistance: it resists alcohol, water and common soaps. Use soft sponge or brush. Storage: in well-closed can even after use. Keep in place at temperature either inferior to +5°C or superior to +30°C. Stability: about 1 year. Packaging: 5 litres
