FERROGRAF 229 MICACEOUS ENAMEL Water-based enamel with micaceous iron oxide and with particular ancient aesthetic effect suitable for both interiors and exteriors. It can be used for gates, street lamps, gratings etc. Achievable colors: - All color from Ferrograf catalogue. Technical Sheet CHARACTERISTICS specific weight: 1.450 ±30 gr/LT at 25°C Yield: 8 m2/LT Aesthetic effect: Rough - satined Colors: Color from Ferrograph catalogue Packaging: Lt. 1 – Lt. 4 Cleaning effect: DIN 53778 more than 800 abrasive cycles Washing resistance: DIN 53778W more than 1200 abrasive cycles Abrasion resistance: DIN 53778S more than 3000 abrasive cycles Drying on the surface: 1 hours at 20°C Over-painting: 8 hours at 20°C In depth: 24 hours at 20°C Dilution ready to use for brush or roller application, 10% with drinkable water for spray application. Application system: Brush – roller - spray Number of coatings: 2 APPLICATION METHOD: On Galvanized sheet iron, aluminum, new copper :- remove grease from the surface and apply two coats of Ferrograf. On Iron: - Brush the surface and remove all elements of rust and paint existing on the surface, apply two coats of Ferrograf. In case on maximum protection against corrosion, it is suggested to apply one coat of anti rust coating and above it apply two coat of Ferrograf. N.B :- The temperature of stocking and of application must be not inferior to +10˚ C and not superior to + 35˚ C & the relative environment humidity must be limited to avoid superficial film problems. Working tools must be washed soon with water, use Nitro diluents if paint has dried on the tools
